A veneer is a thin layer placed over your own tooth to hide discolored, damaged, or crooked teeth. It is a relatively minor procedure that effectively corrects imperfections and damage. You can also get a veneer for minor flaws such as a gap between the teeth or chipped corners.
Before we begin work for you, you will have an extensive intake with our dentist and veneer specialists. Based on this consultation, they will determine if a veneer is the most suitable method to meet your needs.
We tailor the treatment to your specific situation. For example, we can provide an additional night guard for you to use at night, ensuring you do not damage your veneers while sleeping. Personal care is central to our approach, and we find it important that you feel comfortable with us. This also means that we look beyond the aesthetic aspect of the treatment, focusing on long-term care to maintain your oral health and keep the results of your veneer optimal.
At YourDental, you can have porcelain veneers placed. The greatest advantage of porcelain veneers is that they have a more beautiful and natural appearance compared to composite veneers. Tooth colors can be better replicated, and porcelain veneers last a very long time, with an average lifespan of ten years. If brushing is poor or if there is teeth grinding, the veneers will not last as long. However, porcelain veneers are more expensive than the composite alternative and cannot be placed in a single treatment.
We offer two options for porcelain veneers. The first option consists of a veneer made of Emax lithium disilicate. This is the standard option in terms of price-quality ratio. Our second option is the most natural and thin porcelain veneer from Feldspathic. Your results will then look slightly more natural than with the first option.
The costs you will incur depend on the method applied. You may also wonder if the treatment is covered by insurance. For example, if part of your tooth is broken due to an accident, this is often covered, but if this is not the case, the treatment is usually at your own expense. Unfortunately, we cannot assess this in advance, but you can discuss this with your insurance company.

You have a choice between two types of veneers: the composite and porcelain variants. The composite veneer is the most common and is placed in a single treatment. For this, a thin layer of the tooth is first ground down to make room for the veneer. Next, a bonding layer is placed on the tooth where the veneer will be attached. The soft composite is shaped and then hardened using a special lamp. Finally, we polish your veneer, after which you leave with a radiant smile.

You may also require a dental prosthesis to renew your teeth instead of a veneer. While veneers are intended as a cosmetic solution, dental prosthetics are used to replace missing teeth. Veneers can therefore only be placed on your original teeth. We recommend doing this only with a healthy and undamaged set of teeth. If you suffer from cavities or inflammation, we will need to treat those first.
It is popular to get veneers in Turkey because it seems very affordable. However, in some cases, this can turn out poorly. Not all clinics there are equally reliable. We therefore strongly recommend having your treatment performed by a specialized clinic in the Netherlands, so you can be certain of professional and safe care.
Some people choose to place veneers only on the front teeth. This is certainly possible, but it is often more aesthetic to do your entire set of teeth at once. If you do not choose this and later decide to have your other teeth treated as well, there is a high chance of color differences. We therefore advise you to have veneers placed (for the most part) all at once.
